Other things

Apart from commercial work I have dabbled in various other projects that don't fit easily into any particular genre or type. Some of these projects are listed below.

Other Underground

A new version of the London Underground. Worked on with Daniel Letts as part of a Thinkers Block project. Images have now been removed for legal reasons. (4th January 2005, updated 19th January 2005)

Things To Try Eating (whilst as fresh as reasonably possible)

A diagram showing seasonal food, with an emphasis on the UK, Europe and areas of North America. This is a work-in-progress, but take a look at the latest version. (4th January 2004)

andrewfox.co.uk versions

I regularly update andrewfox.co.uk, but there have been a few major revisions.

The first version went live in June 1999 and was made with speed in mind (as you can see).

Version two of the site went live in July 2000. Here are a couple of alternative prototypes that didn't make it: Dotcom/Excel/IPO (already out of date).

The version we are now in is number three, which went live on 3rd October 2001. Again, there were a few other ideas, this kraft paper one being my favourite.

Karen Eliot's MNK Investigation

This is a version of the first website I made back in 1995. It documents a fictional investigation into the fictional MNK organisation.

The Lunch Lady

"The Lunch Lady documentary follows the rise to stardom of cafeteria worker Sharon Adl-Doost. She had worked as the grill chef for 25 years at the U.S. Geological Survey’s cafeteria when she was asked to record their daily menu line in 1996. When she started to add songs to the end of the menu to boost employee morale, the menu line number spread throughout the U.S. and was soon receiving over 40,000 calls a month. Sharon became a nation-wide celebrity, appearing on the Rosie O’Donnell show, and recording voice over for McDonald’s radio commercials." The documentary (by the esteemed Leslie Mello) had an accompanying website which I helped to look after.
